Tushar Bhatia is a mainstream Sitar Player, Music Composer, Writer, Producer of Stage shows and presenter on stage, TV and radio and has numerous classical and light compositions to his credit.

Apart from movie ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, commercials like ‘Nakshatra Diamonds’, ‘Dhara’ and many short films, documentaries, he has composed music for several private albums under the label of EMI, CBS, Saregama, Times Music and Universal. His albums include The essence of Bhagwad Geeta, Patanjali’sYohasutra, Budhha’s teachings, Slokas for children, ‘East Blends with west’ ‘Instrumental Ghazals’ etc.

Tushar Bhatia has trained in Indian Classical Music [Vocal and Sitar] for over thirty years. He is a disciple of Pt Arvind Parikh, Pt P B Devburman of Etawa Gharana . He is trained under Pt Dinkar Kaikini, Pt K G Ginde & Pt Yashwant Mahale in Vocal music. He has studied Western Classical music on Piano and Double Bass.

He has in the past produced several albums in the field of Classical Music of Stalwarts like Smt. Shobha Gurtu, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Vilayal Khan, Smt. Kishori Amonkar, Pt Bhimsen Joshi, Smt. Parveen Sultana, Pt Dinkar Kaikani, Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma, Pt Hari Prasad Chowrasia, Jagjit and Chitra Singh etc.

He has conducted workshops at several prestigious institutions in India, Europe and USA. He has designed several teaching modules while successfully managing commercial recordings. Tushar Bhatia has done sitar concert/ lecture-demonstration tour from US and Europe.

Vocal: Trained under Pt. Dinkar Kaikini: SangeetVisharad [Equivalent to BA in music] Gold Medal awardee.
Piano : Trained under Dr.(Ms.) Ernavaz Bharucha.
Double Bass : Trained under Johanese Janson
